This sort of technology I think along with nano technology is where the future lies fir protecting, repairing, correcting, and even perhaps enhancing the human body.

Yes that and designing treatments to the individual instead of the whole spectrum of a disease. We are watching politics move and the speed of sound and yet we are often not watching the technology of the day moving at the speed of light.

Yeah – I have thought for a long time that our treatments are blunt instruments not tailored enough to the individual chemistry/living circumstances of the patient.
