For the first time in over 30 years, the standard treatment for severe allergic reactions has changed. Neffy, a needle-free nasal spray, has entered the market (authorized in late 2024/early 2025 and seeing mass adoption now). Using a novel “cell-loosening” technology, it allows epinephrine to be absorbed through the nose as fast as an injection. This is set to revolutionize pediatric care and emergency response for the 1-in-13 children with food allergies who previously feared the needle.
