Researchers successfully used scalable quantum circuits to model fundamental nuclear physics on more than 100 qubits, an achievement currently beyond the capacity of even the most advanced classical supercomputers. This breakthrough involves efficiently preparing complex initial quantum states and offers a new way to simulate phenomena like particle collisions and ultra-high-density matter, which could lead to resolving long-standing cosmic mysteries.
